AIM AND SCOPE

FULafia Journal of Social Sciences (FULJOSS) is the official journal of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. It is a peer-review quarterly journal that provides an international outlet for the scholarly dissemination of findings in empirical and theoretical social science research. Articles are encouraged from all areas of Social Sciences,
including, but not limited to, Economics, Geography, Mass Communication, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Social work. Particularly invited are articles that advance understanding of social problems across various socio-economic, environmental, and political phenomena and studies examining the effects of different national, global, and cultural contexts. Review papers that stimulate debate and discussion are also encouraged.

SUBMISSION GUID

The paper must not have been previously submitted for consideration in any journal or published.

Papers should appear in the following order: Title page: Name(s) of Author(s), Affiliation institutions, Email of corresponding Author, Phone Number(s), Abstract (150 – 250 words in English language should precede the article. This will be translated into French language by the Editorial Board), Keyword (Not more than 6 keywords should be submitted).
 

The manuscript must be in Microsoft Word format, double-spaced, and not exceeding 30 pages, including tables, graphs, and references (APA 6th edition style).


All papers will be subjected to a plagiarism check (The similarity index should not be more than 25% and thereafter to a double-blind review.

Paper should be submitted with the evidence of a non-refundable article review fee of N5,000 only.
 

If accepted after peer review and meeting all the FULJOSS editorial requirements, authors will be required to pay N25,000 as a publication fee.
