Policy on Ethical Behaviour
We expect authors to adhere to the ethical standards for scholarship as articulated in the Information for Author. These standards include actions as:
- Taking responsibility and credit only for work they have actually performed;
- Honestly acknowledging the work of others;
- Submitting only original work to journal;
- Fully documenting their own and other related work.
If possible breaches of ethical standards are identified at the review or publication process, the author will be notified and the ethical issue will be brought to the attention of appropriate professional body or authority. Peer review confidentiality will not apply where there is evidence of plagiarism.
Copyright and clearing permission
The journal’s policy is to own copyright in all contributions. Authors are therefore responsible for obtaining permission from copyright holders for reproducing through any medium of communication those illustrations, tables, maps, figures or lengthy quotations previously published elsewhere. Before publication authors assign copyright to the Publishers, but retain their rights to republish the material in other works written by themselves subject to full acknowledgement of FULafia Journal of Social Sciences.
